London Former England captain Michael Vaughan has backed his side’s pace attack rather than that of Australia, despite the Aussies' awesome display with the ball, in their 4-0 whitewash of India.

He believes that even England’s second-string attack is more potent than Australia's front-liners. ''

"Aussies have the best seam attack in the world..#myarse. South Africa and England have better seam bowling attacks IMO… In fact England have 2 better seam bowling attacks,'' The Sydney Morning Herald quoted Vaughan’s tweet, as saying.

Vaughan had led England to a drought-breaking Ashes win in 2005.

The composition of the Australian pace attack, however is unknown, with rookies Mitchell Starc, Pat Cummins and James Pattinson waiting to get berths in the squad.

The ongoing series against Pakistan will test England’s pace attack after Tim Bresnan and Chris Tremlett have been ruled out for the remainder of the series due to an injury.
