Escorts, Rotary launch lifestyle programme

New Delhi, January 5 Escorts Heart Institute and Research Centre Limited, in association with Rotary Siddhartha, launched a lifestyle modification programme on Saturday at the India International Centre. The programme aims to spread awareness among the youth about various lifestyle and heart diseases.

Dr T S Kler, executive director, department of Cardiac Sciences (EHIRCL) said, “If the younger generation has to enjoy life to its fullest their motto should be to have a healthy body physically and mentally that can be achieved by leading a healthy lifestyle.”

Dr Z S Meharwal, director, department of Cardio Vascular Surgery emphasised on disorders because of present day lifestyles like, chaotic urbanisation, pressure to sustain and perform in social circles and workplaces, long working hours.
