What’s on your I Pod?
I have songs of Bob Marley, John Mayer, Ronan Keating, U2, Oasis, REM and Sting. I also have lots of Bollywood songs and ghazals.

What’s your DVD pick?
The Godfather.

Your most favourite romantic scene in a movie?
My favourite romantic scene is from Notting Hill, starring Hugh Grant and Julia Roberts. On their first date, they walk in a park at night. The background music starts playing and they sit on the bench together. And the bench says, “For June, who loved this garden, from Joseph who always sat beside her”. They kiss and Julia Roberts says, “Some people do spend their whole lives together.”

Which hero would you love to go on a date with and why?
Edward Norton. He is one of my favourite actors. The purpose of my date would be to learn how to portray a character. He is hot and a phenomenal actor.

Which dialogue have you mouthed in front of the mirror the most?
“Mujhe bhagvan ke liye chod do”, just as a joke. Apart from my own movie dialogues, I have not really mouthed any in front of the mirror.

Who inspired you to become an actor?
My mother is my inspiration. She was the first to put me in front of the camera as a child to do ad films. As a child, I have seen my mom act and I think she is absolutely natural.

The worst film you ever watched? Why?
Can’t answer this question. A great amount of effort goes into the making of each film and I am not the one to judge these movies.

Which film do you wish you could be a part of?
I wish I could have been a part of Yuva. I would have loved to do Rani’s role. It will be a dream come true to work with Mani Ratnam.

What makes you an actor?
I believe acting is in my blood. Playing various roles and trying to understand different characters is an art. I believe in the character and stick to the script and director’s guidelines.

Quiz: From which film is this line: “Your come come memsaab”
Raja Hindustani (correct).
