What’s on your iPod?
I don’t own an iPod. I usually listen to old Hindi songs.

What’s your DVD pick?
This is an unfair question. If I had to pick one, it would be Breaking the Waves by Lars von Trier. I like his style of filmmaking. It’s about this woman who believes in God and talks to him. I also like all the masala Hindi films.

Your favourite romantic scene in a movie?
The last scene between Andy Garcia and Meg Ryan in When a Man Loves a Woman. The whole movie actually has very good scenes.

Which hero would you love to go on a date with and why?
Johnny Depp. He is a very versatile actor. Though he plays energetic characters, in person he is subdued. I would love to know what’s behind his silent side.

Which dialogue have you mouthed the most in front of the mirror?
“Nahin, aisi baat nahin hai.”

Who inspired you to become an actor?
No one person inspired me; movies inspired me. I love watching films, I love the fact that it allows suspension of disbelief and that it takes you away from reality.

Which is the worst film you ever watched?
Nowadays, there are so many of them. I think I’ll be politically correct and not name any film.

Which film do you wish you could be a part of?
Chak De! India, Omkara and Swades were all good projects. I would have liked to be a part of them in some way. Though I was in the film Honeymoon Travels Pvt Ltd I would have liked to play Ameesha Patel’s role in it.

What makes you an actor?
I try and find myself in the role I play and play it my way. I guess it’s being natural and being myself within the character.

Quiz: From which film is this line: Main yahan paanch lakh ka sauda karne aaya hoon aur mere jeb mein paanch phooti kaudi bhi nahin hai
Trishul (Correct).
