Kolkata, April 10
After announcing its itinerary for the upcoming fire safety week, the fire and emergency services department along with the help of volunteers conducted a mock fire exercise in the city today. The exercise included demonstration of fire-fighters, fire tenders, sky lifts and ambulances. Considering the rising number of shopping malls in the city the fist mock exercise was held at one of the busiest malls of the city.
The exercise started at around 11am when smoke candles were lit in the mall filling it with smoke.
