In the battle of debutants, the first-round results show Imran Khan has KO-ed Harman Baweja and his 2050 romance with a red-headed Priyanka Chopra.

In Delhi with co-star Genelia D’Souza, Khan was in a mood to celebrate the success of Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane Na, but bring up comparisons with uncle and producer Aamir Khan, and the 25-year-old would smile sheepishly, “There might be a certain resemblance in our looks but that is hereditary. I don’t think our acting can be compared.”

Yet having uncle as producer would have helped, for sure? “Contrary to what people believe, Aamir never gave me acting tips. He wanted me to develop my own creative side,” said Khan.

While he will be seen next in Sanjay Gadhvi’s Kidnap with Sanjay Dutt, D’Souza will be acting opposite Baweja in Aneez Bazmee’s It’s My Life.

“Except for the abusive language she uses in the film, I am a lot similar to the character I play in Jaane Tu...,” she laughed in between playing pranks with Khan.

“Anyway, mouthing all those abuses was most de-stressing.” So should the first weekend results.
