Four seeds tumble out of Talent Series

Kolkata, March 25 Four seeds bit the dust today at the infocus Technologies – AITA TALENT SERIES TENNIS CHAMPIONSHIP 2008 being played on the grass courts of the High Court Club. The Tournament is sponsored by infocus Technologies and organized by Joy Mukherjee. The co-sponsors are Max New York Life. In the Boys’ Singles Under 12 local boy Aayush Poddar defeated fourth seeded Purushottam Dash of Orissa 7-5. In the Boys’ Singles Under 16 sixth seeded Muqtadir Ahmad was shown the door by Assam’s Nabarun Gogoi 2-8. In another upset fourth seed Subhoraj Ghosh was ousted by qualifier Shukrit Guha 4-8. Lucy loser Shuvam Roy made the most of the opportunity and brushed aside the challenge of eighth seed Harsh Gurnani by beating him 8-3.
