London 'Slumdog Millionaire' actress Freida Pinto is getting accolades from all quarters for her role in the movie and has added another name to her fan list- Angelina Jolie.

But apparently the 24-year-old actress was so stunned to see Jolie at a luncheon in Los Angeles recently that she quickly escaped into the buffet instead of greeting the star.

However next moment she realised that Jolie was approaching her and poor Pinto had to greet her between the mouthful of pastry, the 'Contactmusic' reported.

"Talk about bad timing; I stuffed my face with a pastry and Angelina comes walking up to me and says, 'Good job'," Pinto said.

The actress admitted that she did not have the nerve to speak to Jolie when she first spotted her and was so engrossed with the food that she failed to notice that Jolie was making her way towards her and was left red-faced.

Pinto finally got the chance to speak to Jolie properly just before the Golden Globes.
