If the latest spring-summer collection of GAS is anything to go by, then slim fits for men will definitely be back in fashion. At the unveiling at The Ashok, model Joey Mathews pirouetted in a black outfit, but the ramp was dominated by florid, flouncy dresses in striking blue, the colour for the season. The formals had clean stripes for men and straight-fitting corduroy. “For me, Indian fashion is very stylish and the most important part is quality,” said Claudio Grotto, founder chairman of GAS. Since the NCR is already one-third of Italy, Grotto is mulling the launch of another store in Gurgaon. Marking another venture was countryman Jean Marc Delpon de Vaux, managing director of SABMiller, with the delectable beer Peroni. “It is crisp, light on the palate and less frothy, just in tune with the Italian style,” said Vaux. Go ahead, mix and match.
