Ambala, February 10 The incidence of high blood pressure among Railway police officials in Haryana has become a cause of concern. The fact came to light at a medical examination camp organised recently on the instructions of the GRP Superintendent of Police, Bharai Arora. The doctors at the camp found that majority of the officials are suffering from hypertension besides other diseases.

Following the medical check-up, the GRP organised a seminar at GRP Lines in Ambala City today. It was attended by more than 80 GRP employees. The seminar was addressed by Dr RS Thakur of Police Lines Hospital, ayurvedic specialist Dr Narain Singh and yoga expert Dr Vijay Vats.

The speakers came to the conclusion that stressful life is the major reason behind hypertension among the employees. The experts said that employees should refrain from addictions that can prove costly for personal health.

The Haryana GRP SP, Bharati, who was present on the occasion, said that more such seminars would be organised to cover maximum number of the GRP officials. Other officials including the DSP Headquarters were also present on the occasion.
