Gambhir to lead North

New Delhi, January 15 Gautam Gambhir will lead North Zone in the Duleep Trophy with his Delhi teammate Mitthun Manhas being the vice captain. The team was finalised in a selection committee meeting held in Mohali today.

Vijay Dahiya will coach the team. North Zone will begin their campaign with a match against South Zone in Ahmedabad from January 26-29. The convenor of the selection committee, Sunil Dev, announced the team in a press release here today.

Feroz Gyas is the manager while Ravi Inder Singh (Punjab), S Baig (J&K), Sachin Rana (Haryana) and Puneet Bisht (Delhi) are the standbyes.
