Gian Sagar to set up rural health centre near Rajpura

Patiala, February 13 The Gian Sagar Medical College and Hospital (GSMCH) will be opening its first rural healthcare centre at Gajju Khera village on the Patiala-Chandigarh highway near Rajpura.

The head of the Community Medicine Department of GSMCH, B P Gupta, said the centre would cater to the healthcare needs of the people of Gajju Khera, Manakpur villages and other surrounding areas.

He said that GSMCH doctors would provide medical services such as immunisation, regular antenatal check-up and contraception at the centre.

He further added that medical consultants would also visit the rural healthcare centre to provide expert services.

Free ambulance service to the patients referred to the GSMCH .
