Vijay (31), who was working with a multinational company in Canada till five months ago, was found hanging in his flat in Paradise Apartment of Dwarka's Sector 9 at around 1:30 pm on Friday by his family members.
The youth was shown the door by his company due to the global crisis and had returned to the capital early 2008, leaving his Canadian wife and a one-year-old daughter there, a senior police official said.
Vijay, who was completing his MBA course in Canada, was staying in the Dwarka flat along with his parents and brothers since his return one-and-half months ago.
His family, which informed police after finding him hanging in his room, said Vijay was under depression after he lost his job.
He was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was declared brought dead.
A suicide note was recovered from his room in which he claimed that he was fed up with life.
His father is a retired colonel, police said, adding his wife and daughter are still in Canada.

The NRI from Canada who comitted suicide, had no access to Social Welfare Fund there?
LOOKING AT THE STATE OF THE NATION, HE PROBABLY FELT THIS WAS THE BEST COURSE OF ACTION!!
This is what will happen when we don't realise our real self. This depression and the resultant action of suicide is very tragic and will keep on increasing if we don't start getting back to our spirituality and strong points. We have to realise we are the soul and not this body. This material life is a misery and our real benefit is in realising self and God. May god give the peace to the soul.
In this time of global meltdown, the ancient Indian philosophy of want not waste not and live within your means gets added dimensions. Post IT boom, almost every english savvy person adapted a consumerist and materialistic attitude towards life. Its only problem is it doesnot prepare you for a rainy day/disaster. So, would it not be prudent to adopt our own principles in leading the life which are simple and stressfree?
Highly paid techies too early in thier lives never believed in saving for the rainy day when the going was good.
Most men at some point in life would have reached a very challenging point in life on many occasions. Conceding to commit ones own life is very unfortunate. Life is a cycle between challenges and pleasurable moments. Actually there is a thin line between these two extremes. People who are guided by circumstances and not by divine guidance usually rely on self made solutions. Humans were not expected to rely on self but by the directives of the most high.
