A total of 32 officers were transferred, including Subash Ahulwalia, former principal secretary to the chief minister, who sometime back was posted as managing director, Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation (HPTDC). He was also holding the charge of Director, Tourism. He has now been transferred as settlement officer, Kangra, at Dharamshala.

Ram Subhag Singh, on return from his Central deputation, has been posted as Managing Director, HPTDC, in place of Subash Ahulwalia.

V.C. Pharka, principal secretary, general administration department (GAD), who was shifted from the personnel department, was divested of his GAD charge and posted as principal secretary, administrative reforms.

Daljit Dogra, secretary (revenue), who was yesterday given charge of personnel department, now will also be secretary, GAD, and Secretariat administration.

B.K. Aggarwal, secretary to the chief minister, has been appointed as secretary, food and civil supplies, a charge earlier held by additional chief secretary Parminder Mathur.

A.J.V Prasad Ahithela, divisional commissioner, Shimla, has been posted as Commissioner, Municipal Corporation, a post earlier held by a state service officer, Shekhar Gupta.

Nisha Singh, MD, State Small Industries and Export Corporation, will be the new Divisional Commissioner, Shimla. She will also the charge of Commissioner, Kangra and Mandi divisions.

Sanjay Gupta, MD, General Industries Development Corporation, gets additional charge of HP State Industrial Development Corporation, relieving Anil Khachi of his additional charge.

R.D. Dhiman, member (administration), HPSEB, is new commissioner, excise and taxation, in place of Sushil Negi, who has not been given any posting. J.S. Rana, director, urban development, is posted as director, transport and tourism, while Rajesh Kumar, director transport, will now be commissioner, departmental inquiries.

Balbir Tegta, former principal private secretary to CM, has been posted as Director, Urban Development.

Amandeep Garg, Chief Executive Officer, Baddi-Barotiwala-Nalagarh Development Authority, will be the new Deputy Commissioner of Solan, replacing Mohan Chauhan, who is posted as additional director, higher education. Garg will continue to hold his charge as CEO of BBN Development Authority.

R.N. Batta, special secretary, finance, on transfer goes as additional director, cooperatives, while Akshay Sood, secretary, HP State Electricity Regulatory Commission, has been brought back as special secretary, finance.

Rakesh Sharma, secretary, Himachal Pradesh State Electricity Board (HPSEB), has been posted as land acquisition officer (LAO), Chamera Project in Chamba. He will be replaced by M.P. Sood, earlier additional director, elementary education. Ashok Sharma, additional director, higher education, has been sent to the elementary education.

Subash Kalsotra, settlement officer, Kangra, has been posted as Additional DC, Kangra, at Dharamshala. Madhu Bala Sharma, on return from leave, is posted as additional director, HIPA, in place of S.C. Pal, who is posted as joint secretary personnel. K.D. Lakhanpal, Additional District Magistrate, Kangra, is posted to Kullu as Land Acquisition Officer, Parvati Project.

Rajesh Kumar, Additional District Magistrate, Pooh in Kinnaur, is transferred and posted as Secretary, HP State Board of School Education, at Dharamshala, replacing Manohar Lal Sharma, who will be SDM, Rohru. Man Singh, joint secretary, personnel, is shifted to Surah in Tissa as Sub-Divisional Officer.
