New Delhi, August 27: Even as Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has apparently expressed his government’s “resolve” to fight separatists in a letter to BJP leader L K Advani, the party on Wednesday said it was “anxious to see the resolve translate into action”.

“Prime Minister in his reply to the Leader of Opposition on Tuesday has expressed his resolve to fight separatists and the government’s commitment to implement the court orders but these words will have to proven right at ground zero,” a senior party leader said, apparently referring to the separatists’ agitation over the Amarnath row in Kashmir.

It is wrong for anyone to comment on the interaction between two senior leaders but the party feels that the assurances shall carry weight only if it is translated into action, he added.

As per sources, Singh in his reply to Advani has expressed his government’s firm intention to implement the Jammu and Kashmir High Court order with respect to the Amarnath land and it would allow the shrine board to use the land at Baltal during the Yatra period.

Singh in his letter also underlined that the government was ready to hold talks with all parties concerned in the valley to find an early amicable solution to the Amarnath land row.
