“Not once, twice or thrice but as many as 10 times we have given evidence. Pakistan must cooperate. No question of mere denial. You will be caught in your denial then,” External Affair Minister Pranab Mukherjee told a seminar organised by the Bengal Chamber of Commerce in Kolkata.
And addressing a rally near the international border in Jammu, UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi warned Pakistan that India was “capable of giving a befitting reply”.
“Pakistan continues to support terrorism from its soil despite our overtures of peace and dialogue. We are capable of giving a
befitting reply, our sentiments of brotherhood and friendship should not be construed as our weakness,” Gandhi said at Dablehar in R S Pura.
In Kolkata, Mukherjee said Pakistan has to abide by its commitments given first by former president Pervez Musharraf and then by Asif Ali Zardari.
He said Pakistan has to arrest the fugitives who have taken shelter in that country. “Those who are Indian citizens, hand them over to us. And those who are required for investigations, may be your citizens, also hand them over to us,” he said.
He took strong exception to contradictory statements from Pakistan about the presence of Jaish-e-Mohammad chief Maulana Masood Azhar in that country. “Masood Azhar was under house arrest was the observation of the Pakistan Defence Minister (Chowdhury Mukthar Ahmed). But after that contradictory statements are emanating from the country. Sometimes it is said he (Azhar) is not seen. Sometimes it is said that he is not available in Pakistan,” he said.
“We can deal only with the government of the day. Therefore, all arguments which are coming from the other side (Pakistan) are not really convincing... We have the evidence, including intercepts of the conversation via satellite. Yesterday I described the conversation as a chilling account. The captured living terrorist (Ajmal Ameer Kasab) gave the chilling account of what transpired between him and the controller from that side. They were monitoring Indian television. We have this type of information,” he said.
Pakistan must pursue these evidence and take action, he said, noting that “words must be followed up by action”.

No doubt, Mr. Pranav Mukherjee is slowly tightening the noose on Pakistan. We hope and pray that there be no let up in this exercise, like in the past. The pressure on Pakistan must be kept up and India should not stop till the entire region of Pakistan is cleansed of terrorists and terror training camps.
India will never and cannot attack Pakistan even in dreams, as by now we should have attacked them. The simple reason is these buffoons (present Indian Politicians) are chamchas of Nehru legacy. HE IS THE ONE AMONG THE FEW RESPONSIBLE MINISTERS WHOM INDIANS CAN LOOK WITH PRIDE. THE PRESIDENT OF THE COUNTRY IF AVAILABLE, SHOULD IMMEDIATELY FORM A NATIONAL GOVT CONSISTING OF THE CAPABLE MINISTERS FROM UPA AND MEMBERS FROM THE OTHER MAIN STREAM PARTIES TO DEAL WITH THIS SITUATION MORE UNITEDLY AND EFFECTIVELY.
What we are going to do against Pakistan is a very very remote question,when we have Indian citizen like Mr,Khaleel.Even GOD will be confused to act against Pakistan when we have such citizens in our Motherland.First let us keep our house in order so that we can finger our enemy to the International community.

Why doesn't the government call all the envoys of foreign governments from Chanakyapuri and submit the evidences in their presence and witness to Pakistan's high commissioner? That will also make it easy to move a proposal to declare Pakistan a terrorist state later on!

We are tired of hearing Pakistan name after every blast in India and every time later it became clear that the actual criminals were RSS and Sangh Parivaris. You have a catch you say he is from Pakistan. Make arrangements for arrange a live court proceedings, for example like the one done in US for O J Simpson. When government of India mentions that those responsible for Mumbai 26/11 attacks where from Pakistan and there are other nations too asking Pakistan to take action on non-state actors in their country, it then becomes clear why you are hearing Pakistan. If you are tired of hearing Pakistan, then Pakistan must stop people from their country caring out such acts of terrorism. We too are fed up and feel that if they don't take action, then our government must.

We have a defence minister AK Antony Who cannot even talk properly HisEnglish is more Malayalam .we have a Minister of state external affairs , E Ahemed whose Qualification for this post only AllaH knows .he is from Indian Unioun Muslim League ,A party with strong communal connectionsand indicted in communal riots in Kerala . We have a Minister for NRIs Vayalar Ravi . he cant understand English ..With these combinations who faces the world its very unlikely that somebody is going to take us seriously
The only way out of terrorism in a long run is to work inside out. Just look inside the country, teach in schools to be friends with all castes and creeds. Develop the patriotism for the country in the citizens than religious beleifs Media, politicians and elders should all play a vital role. Strengthen all the departments of government, give allowances to government employees on basis of performance. Make an HR system, then watch once we are too good, nobody can do anything to us. Now we are seperated, cheated, made afraid by, bombed, tortured and betrayed . Who is the people to Act, Politicians and media. Indias growth should be bigger than any personal interests. If found guilty should be punished and laws should be passed sooner. We need efficiency in our country.
It seems, nothing will concrete will happen - Either from Pakistan or India. These will remain only on paper. It is time, media should ask tough time lines from Indian politicians for action and plan of action.
Indian diplomacy on post-Mumbai incident seems to be good with supportive verbal international cooperation. But we fear about our domestic front. A few months hence we are to go for election. Then useless war-cry will drive people into frenzy. Louder the cry louder will be for such crazy 'popularity'.

Before 9/11 at each street and corner there were collection boxes to collectfund to raise jihad against infidals, including for jihad in Kashmir. After 9/11 theyall stopped collecting funds, at least open collections, in fear of getting punished fromUS. Why not India understands that pakis understand language of iron fist only. Killing of innocents is deplorable by any sane person and all religions. Islam is being tested by terrorists who kill in blind rage and arrogance without any solid reason. They have been successful to an extent in overshadowing the views of other pious muslims who like people of other faiths submit to the will of God, which is the central tenant of all religions. But, this perversion can not last forever; to the believers this is a passing phase, which means a necessity for higher dedication to the good virtues of their religion. When violence must be countered by rightiousness, there is no better example than Bhagwad Gita, where the Lord himself gave a discourse to reluctant Arjun to act in the true spirit of Karma. The duty or the Karma has to be discharged with utmost precision and care, with due respects to wisdom and ideals of human existence; so that it does not become synonymous with barbarism. These thoughts are influenced by stellar writings of Chaudhariji from Pakistan.
One can awaken who is asleep but not one who is pretending to be asleep. Pak is only pretending. If they don't extradite the culprits,we should take it up with UN for possible sanctions. Also the ICJ should be approached for seeking reparations. Every international fora should be leveraged to pressurise them to act. A still stronger message to pak's is must keep going, but see that the armed forces option be kept open. do not depend much on US and European countries they use double standards and always try to lower the status value of INDIA. U can depend on Russia its the true friend.
