Raipur, July 25: The Chhattisgarh government has declared a high alert in the state and sealed its borders with six neighbouring states, following the serial blasts that rocked Bangalore on Friday.

"The state government has declared a high alert and sealed its borders with neighbouring states in the wake of Bangalore blasts," state Principal Secretary-Home N K Aswal said.

Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Andhra Pradesh, Orissa, and Jharkhand share borders with Chhattisgarh.
