Taking strong exception to the expression 'Hindu terrorism' being used in regard to the suspects booked by Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) - Sadhvi Pragya Singh , Lt Col Prasad Purohit and Dayanand Pandey- the Abhinav Bharat president Himani Savarkar told the gathering on Sunday night that the money collected would be used for the legal battle to defend and free the accused.
Savarkar, who also heads the Hindu Mahasabha, shared the platform with leaders of Shiv Sena, Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) at the meeting held at Shivaji Mandir in the heart of the city which is emerging as an alleged springboard of pro-Hindutva activism.
The leaders who spoke on the occasion accused the ATS of framing Lt Col Purohit, being prosecuted by Maharashtra ATS for alleged links with the September Malegaon blast, and also hailed him as Mangal Pandey, a revolutionary soldier of the 1857 upsurge during the British rule.
The city unit chief of Shiv Sena Nana Wadekar said, "We do not know whether the accused really planted bombs as alleged. But if they had done so, we are proud of them as it should be seen as an act in defence of Hindus."
He went on to recall the Sena supreme Bal Thackeray's statement in the wake of demolition of the Babri mosque at Ayodhya that "if my Sainiks have brought down the Masjid, I am proud of them." The speakers at the rally alleged that the ATS sleuths were subjecting the Malegaon accused to torture and humiliation at the behest of Congress government as the party was orchestrating a vilification campaign against Hindu Sadhvis and saints with an eye on the Muslim vote bank in the coming elections.
The rally was described by the speakers as the first public meeting of its kind organised in support of the Malegaon accused.
Representatives of Patit Pawan, a hard line pro Hindutva organisation presented a sword to Himani Savarkar, who said the money being collected would be deposited in a bank account under the name Hindu legal aid firm to fight court battles to give justice to the Malegaon accused.

Every action have reaction. If reaction creates the problem, you have to find how it was initiated. Gujarat riots were initiated by your own friends bu burning 50 innocent hindus. We have seen several bomb attacks in India, more than 60. your friend Jehadi's have killed several of innocent people. Government is not hanging even a proven terrorist. Most of jehadi terror suspects are now free on bail. What do you expect Hindu's to do, sit silent? They are in mejority, you cant keep them silent after several of provocations. You go to lion's den and abuse him, he will react strongly because he has more power there. These are natural reaqctions to actions and jehadi terrorists and in-action of government in center.

It is because India is predominantly Hindu that it had 4 heads of nations(presidents), several cabinet ministers, deputy ministers and state ministers at the centre and chief ministers and other ministers of different states from the minority Muslim community during the last 60 years after independence. You are highly emotional about the Gujarat riots, but do not want even to mention the Godhra train burning which was the provocation for the Gujarat riots. You may claim that the Godhra incident was an accident or even a conspiracy of the Hindutwa forces, but there will be no takers of such arguments amongst the relatives and friends of the victims of Godhra who had suffered the pain and later reacted(unfortunately) very violently. This was evident from the thumping majority with which the BJP won the state elections after 2002, despite concerted anti-BJP propaganda by the secularist political parties, the media and the Human Rights organizations.

RSS was founded in 1925,not 1922 dumbhead,by revolutinary activist Dr Hedgewar who also participated in 1920 and 1930 satyashrah.RSS members participated in 1942 movement.have read igonrat Gujarati,about Naukhali and calcutta massacre of Hindus as well as thousands of Hindu women were raped and lakh of Hindus were murdered during partition long before existence of jan sangh or BJP?

18 people killed in earlier malegon blast. 47 people killed in hydrabad blast. 76 people killed samjuhta blast, 16 people killed in ajmer shariff blast, and many more in the list. 3000 killed in gujurat, 1500 killed in mumbai roits and 2000 shiks killed in 1984 roits. 300 killed and still continuing in orrisa, all these issues are still pending my friend. it is govt. attitude my friend towards minorities. I suggest as per Bush's logic ,no cause can be used to to justify terrorism. This he said after after 9/11 attacks. I suggest that whoever in India is committing acts of terror or collecting funds to support terrorism, a law should be enacted to send such organisations to a CAMP GUANTANAMO. Without any solid proof, government is taking so much interest in a case where the impact was almost nothing compared to other blasts hapenned in and around the country. When we have so many big impacted cases where the proof is evident to common man also, is just left behind. Why is Government targetting, focusing so much on this case alone?
Its not the govt that is targetting. Its the ATS. The crime branch has also rounded up many Indian Mujahideen members and are doing there job. So lets not intefere with the police. Many people have been booked under POTA only later to be set free because of thier innocense. If these people are innocent they will be set free.

Many people would like to condemn the act of ATS which seems to be influenced by the Congress govt in Maharshtra. Indeed a very bold intiative by Abhinav Bharat. Kudos to them.
