New York Actor John Travolta saw a wave of sympathy from all corners after the tragic loss of his 16-year old son Jett Travolta in Bahamas.

Oprah Winfrey, Tom Cruise and Tom Hanks are among the stars who have sent condolence messages to Travota and his wife Kelly Preston as they mourn the loss of their son.

Jett Travolta died after suffering a fatal seizure at the family's holiday home in the Bahamas on Friday. The teenager who had a history of seizures, suffered from Kawasaki disease, in early childhood, according to his mother.

Trovolta's celebrity friends are helping the couple to get over this rough patch.

"Everybody has reached out. It seems like the world has reached out and feels the pain that John and Kelly are going through. Thousands and thousands of phone calls have been received. Oprah has called. You name it, they've called," Trovolta's lawyer, Michael Ossi told ‘CNN’.

Ossi also revealed that Hanks and Cruise have reached out to the grieving parents.

The 54-year-old actor reportedly spent a day with his son Jett before the teenager died.

The 16-year-old and his father went boating and Travolta's attorney Michael Ossi revealed a series of beautiful pictures were taken of the pair, which the actor will treasure forever.

"(They had a) beautiful day on the water with beautiful pictures taken. Jett loved the water, and that was the last time he spent with his father," Ossi said.
