This Sri Lankan beauty is trying to home in to India these days. After all, India is a land where dreams come true. No wonder then that this 20-year-old Miss Sri Lanka World 2006, Rapthi Raffella Dannielle Kerkoven, has decided to abandon her own soil in search of new horizons in India, where she not only plans to set the ramp on fire, but also plans to find a place in Bollywood.

Born and brought up in Colombo, the Capital city of Sri Lanka, Dannielle has just completed her graduation and a Diploma in airline ticketing reservations, and has already started doing fashion and ramp shows in India.

Having shifted to Delhi and working for an event management company, she has set high ambitions for herself. "I find there are tremendous opportunities available in India, especially in the field of fashion. I am looking at better avenues in India now." She had earlier given a try at opening up a swimwear shop in her own country, but kept the idea on hold for sometime, as she found better avenues in India. Also studying fashion design these days and working as a professional model, her ambition is to open her own exclusive dress boutique. Dannielle was in Patiala for the launch of 'Nirvana Glow Facial'. Here at the local Lakme Beauty Salon for the new blissful facial experience, she says she "ultimately aims at finding a place in Bollywood".
