Hotelier pledges his body

Ludhiana, January 20 A Local hotelier, N.S. Nanda has decided to donate his body after his death to the DMC Hospital for the medical research purposes.

Nanda, who heads many cultural, social and literary organisations has expressed his desire to donate his body after his death to the anatomy department of the Dayanand Medical College and Hospital (DMCH). In a written statement, Nanda said that it was his desire that his mortal remains may be used for the benefit of the mankind.

Nanda has willed that his wife and legal heirs should not to cremate his dead body, rather it should immediately be handed over to the DMCH so that the medical students may be benefitted by the use of his body. He further desired that all his limbs including kidneys, eyes and other parts, which can come into use may be removed and donated to the needy and poor persons.
