Mumbai, March 28: Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan said that he admired both actors-- Aamir Khan as well as Shah Rukh Khan, refusing to say whom he preferred between the two.

"Aamir and Shah Rukh, both are very good actors and human beings. They are talented and are doing well," Bachchan said replying to a question on the controversy between the two (Aamir and Shah Rukh) as to who was on the top.

When asked if he felt that he was ‘No. 1’ Bachchan said that he did not figure anywhere between the two Khans for the numero uno position.

He was talking to the media on the sidelines of a function organised by the International Indian Film Academy.

Bachchan, also the brand ambassador for the IDEA IIFA Awards 2008, also cast the first vote for the nominations.

Aamir and Shah Rukh are more media creation and hype than anything else. Amitabh is the last true superstar.

Aamir-Shawrook controversy by Ananda Murti Vemuri on 28 Mar 2008

Media should stop this division game. It is utter irresponsibility to sow seeds of dissension among the members of a fraternity. Each of these actors is first and last depending on the criterion chosen. Nobody is perfect. Amitabh has done well in refusing to be drawn into this useless controversy. Such controversies help nobody. They should be stopped immediately.
