Mumbai, September 5: Bollywood actor Jackie Shroff says he does not believe in the number game and prefers to keep a low profile.

"I always do my work quietly and was never known to be a high-profile actor. You get whatever is there in your destiny. Even today, whenever I go out, I am mobbed and people feel I am one of their own. I am still recognised. What else do I want?" he said on Friday.

Shroff denied he was neglecting his career unlike his contemporaries Anil Kapoor, Sanjay Dutt and Sunny Deol. "If I don't make noise about myself, it doesn't mean that I am out of work. I am playing the role of Saibaba in a film by the same name. There is also Chhehre and Ek Second, both thrillers. I will also start working on Ajay Phansekar's action film that also stars Sanjay Dutt and Suneil Shetty besides myself," he added.

In his soon-to-be-released movie Hari Puttar, Jackie will be seen playing the father of an eight-year-old boy named Hari.

"It's a children's movie, an out-and-out comedy. It was shot in the beautiful locations in the United Kingdom," he said adding "I like to do anything that makes kids happy."

Replying to a question about the title of the movie, Jackie said “Hari Puttar has nothing to do with "Harry Potter". 'Puttar' means son and 'Hari' is the name of the boy," he said.

Jackie spends time in his Khandala farm when he is not shooting, where he grows rice and other crops. "It gives me a break from the hustle bustle of Mumbai and brings freshness in my life," he said.

Talking about his children, Jackie said they were too young to think of a career right now. "But I would be more than happy if they choose the film industry," he added.
