Post the stupendous success of his last film ‘Ghajini’, Aamir is being termed as the new 'King Khan' of Bollywood. Commenting on this, the actor said, "I had absolutely no intention of kicking Shah Rukh off his pedestal. Though I have to say, I don't think, he ever was on it. In my opinion, the actor who I really look up to is Mr. Amitabh Bachchan. He is someone who's work I really liked, a fantastic actor & the kind of stardom Mr. Bachchan has seen, none of us can ever hope to see."
He also shared what he felt about ‘Ghajini’ breaking all kinds of records and emerging as the highest grossing Bollywood film of all time. "You can never really tell how a film is going to perform until you see the film with the audience. For me what is important is that when I see the film once it is ready, has it turned out the way we wanted it to? If we have done that, then that makes me feel happy."
The actor also expressed his views on the much talked about Oscar winning film ‘Slumdog Millionaire’. "I thought the movie was well intended. It was a very sincere attempt, but it didn't touch me personally, and I suspect its because, I'm not used to watching Indians speak English, all these slum kids talking in English... it's strange."
Finally the actor got emotional while sharing his thoughts on the ghastly 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks. "It was really devastating. It was like a nightmare, I could not believe it. It was shocking to see the audacity with which these attacks were carried out."

Aamir Khan is the best.SRK has more flops than aamir.On the other hand Aamir's movies are all classics of Indian cinema.If Shahrukh is called king then Aamir should be called Emporer.

Dear Amir, you need not worry about the king's place because you deserve more than that. SRk is not even deserve to play a small stage show. Take his any movie, you will find same story with different heroines, traditional approach of emotions,monkey styles. SRk didn't know the acting actually, as far as awards concerned he just got with his illegal and immoral approaches. Who says awards are not manupulated, do you think Hrithik deserve best actor award for Jodha Akbar, he was looking like a chindi chor. what srk has played in past same tricks are played by Hrithik now. Amir you have always best actor. You are uncomparable as an Actor. Take any of your movie, you just make it superb attempt. You have given much to the industry, no matter how you have been treated. SRk is never be a good actor, because he doesn't know acting. Acting flows in your blood Amir. All the Best.

I think that Aamir Khan aught to be ashamed of himself, he is a jealous and conceited soband who cares what he thinks, all of them follows ShahRukhKhan in everything he doesnone can walk in his shoe, every move or act he makes they all follow him they are like copy cats, SRK is not pompous and ignorant and childish and venomous like all the other that bad talk him all the time MY Goodness they aught to grow up and get a life

I agree with Amir on that. Sharuk was never a King. But I dont agree Amitab was the King either. Infact in this world of multi talent, no one is a king in particular. I Love AMitab, I love Sharuk. They did some films they did best and non one can come near them. Again so many people did marvelous job, and it would be wrong to categorize some one particular guy or Gal as at the Top. In fact Amir has himself dome some Lovely and momentous films, which no one on earth could have done. So the real King is the Director, writer, and the cast, support guys etc. Grow up Brothers! Aamir has gone insane and obsessed with SRK. He is thinking about SRK 24x7. Each time he is taking a dig at SRK and wnats to be in news . Aamir even went to name his dog SRK .Looks like aamir has gone...................... deeply within he is fantasing SRK . Amitabh is not a real king of bolywood . Bollywood changed with SRK of course every decade it undergoes change. Wondering why aamir is called a perfectionist he nags till perfectSo SRK - remain cool and do not get perturbed as aamir is disturbed.

Ms. Anu, I agree that Aamir is better than SRK, but it is not nice to comment against SRK in front of media. I like both of the starts and I believe that Aamir is wrong if he makes such a comment. We are here to rate them and they r not the one to decide who is king.
Folks..Although I like all three of them, there is no doubt that the Big B is the best-not only in India but the world! The roles he has successfully carried off- from a romantic fool (Silsila) to an angry young man (Zanjeer, Don), to the non-chalant friend (Sholay) to a comic (Mr. Natwarlal)to a principled yet proud parent/teacher (Mohabbatein, KKKG)-name any other actor that has done that-anywhere in the world. Yes, the late PM Mrs. Gandhi may have pulled some strings to get him a role but she definitely did not pay the public to go see his movies or to have massive vigils when he was injured during the shooting of 'Coolie'. Let's keep things in perspective now, shall we?Oh..and one more thing-I am not even Indian or Asian. I got hooked on Bollywood films by a friend in Orlando

SRK was good in the initial movies, after that he become too stereotyped .. same mushy-mushy movies and cheeze face expression and dialogs .. dont know about his personal life and it doesnt matter .. honenstly pick any moive from amir khan and there is always something new about .. some thought has been given on it, good or bad is a different thing .. but amir khan is a much better actor then SRK .. he is a good entertainer though
AMIR, they want to believe it or not, you are the best. If people make an Om Shanti Om or a Rab Ne Di Bana Jodi a hit, so we can have an idea have cheap they are. And sorry Amir, Amitabh Bacchan has repeat same kind of Superman role all the time. It's better you talk about a Nassiruddeen Shah or Dilip Kumar (Yusuf Saab).
Ultimately, neither SRK or for that matter Amir Khan crown themselves as KING. This is a creation of the media. It makes no difference to either of them whether they are KING or not. It is sad that the media is creating all this hype and creating enmity between two good, talented people.

I like Amir because he is a very good actor . He is a frank guy and speaks his mind without trying to be politically correct. SRK became a star but he is not a good actor. He used some of his other marketing talents to reach there. What can be said of people who follow others like sheep without having an opinion of their own

SRK is still the king and he will always be. he has come up from being a noone to a star. he is not like Amir or amitab coz amir had the cusion of his relatives for entry into the film industry, amitab had the support of the Gandhi's. but SRK had none and he made it. accepted that each is ok in his own way but how could a sensible person like amir talk like a nonsensical person. he should understand that the media is just trying to create some story and he should not play into it. he should behave more matured but gaining fame by making pun at his colleagues is not gentlemanly and very shameful. have you ever found Naseeruddin sahab making taking a dig at Ompuri, or amol palekar making doing the same on utpal dutt. they were truely stars and true artists and not just actors.

I always thought Amir khan is better than Sharukh, but I did not know Amir was jealous of Shaharukh for so many years. I don't understand why he needs always talk about Shahrukh. Once, he said, his dogs name is Shaharukh. Why does Amir has a problem, if Shaharukh said, he is number one? He can also claim the same.
Aamir Khan, like many members of the Hindi film industry, pays an unnecessary amount of lip-service to Big B, for some hidden or odd reason. If Big B were born into the generation of Saif/Aamir/SRK, he would have been roadkill years ago, because he doesn't have their acting chops, nor can he work as hard as they have. Moreover, he's ungainly and devoid of physical grace; so, he always looked like he was trying a bit too hard to have a long, easy stride. Amitabh Bachchan owes the lion's share of his stardom to his wife, Salim-Javed, the emergency era's zeitgeist and his parents' connections - despite his voice. Amitabh Bachchan always had more luck than talent, no matter how much the film press says otherwise. It's strange that so many bigwigs in the Hindi film world are still praising Big B, even if his career is a bit like an old horse being flogged non-stop. I think Aamir Khan could one day find himself regretting the praise he has heaped on a man who is less competent than him.
Amir Khan....Its high time that you stop all your talk about others and look into your own business..If you want to be called King goahead youselves..but others should recoganise it I mean the public..You are becoming a lill too cheap of late...
Amir has no other way to survive in the media without taking the name of SRK. Amir at least owes this to SRK. SRK is greater than Amir at least because he does not use such techniques for media survival. Amir might be a perfect actor. SRK is a better person and most popular than Amir and his likes. Amir still has time to get rid of his jelousy and try to be a better person like SRK.

Aamir,Thank you very much for the last year for the biggest hit of bollywood thus far of a remake which was a remake.And for making to the headlines as often as you opined your digs on SRK. Kudos to a new found subject on SRK that you managed to garner more air time that you have earn for your impeccable work of cinematic art like TaareZameenpar,Lagan,Sarfarosh and a few others.Agree after that after 2decades you have managed to star in a commercial flick and made it to the top of the pile. But did your fellow Khan star in atleast a dozen of the biggest hits consistantly over that last 15 years. Hast SRK managed to say fresh in the memory of 100 cr Indians for more than a decade.May be you think that a certian Ambitab would never be upstaged. By that count if Amitabh would have thought that way, he would have upstaged legends like Dev Anand, Dilip Kumar,Raj Kapur

What have you been smoking, Aamir gave more hits than SRK, go figure. Anyways to put it in short, Aamir is a versatile, hard working, HUMBLE and sincere actor and SRK is an Overacting, Narcissistic lover of Karan Johar, period. Now get some sleep coz u need it.
