Kolkata, November 13: West Bengal Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee admitted that the 'do it now' slogan, which he coined soon after assuming his office to expedite work, may not have worked in many areas in reality.

He hinted so during the agreement signing ceremony between Texmaco and United Group Rail of Australia.

When Texmaco CEO R Maheswari told Buddhadeb that the delegations from the Australian firm, which visited the company's works, were delighted to see the 'do it now' slogan pasted at various spots inside the factory.

To which Buddhadeb responded, "You have been successful, but I have failed in certain areas." However, he didn't explain how and where exactly he failed.
