Film star Sanjay Dutt (48) married his girlfriend Manyata (32) this morning as per Hindu rituals in a simple ceremony at her residence in suburban Versova.
"Rumours were going on for months (about Dutt getting married to Manyata). I did not know about it," Priya told reporters when asked about her absence during the marriage ceremony.
However, Priya said: "I am very happy for them. When it comes to his (Sanjay's) happiness everyone in the family gets together to celebrate."
"Sanjay is a grown up man and I don't think it’s a matter of acceptance or not. Its a matter of wishing the very best for each other in the family," she added.
Priya said, "Wish great happiness for him which he very much deserves after what all he has gone through."

RatingSanjay Dutt not supposed to live in society.He is proved convict of criminal in the court of law.This way is not be shown by celebrities to the general public that the criminials is getting married and try to live in a good manner in a society who has been already known that he is a criminal.Sanjay Dutt cannot say that I committed crime in left hand and my right hand is good and correct.Now Priya Dutt says he is a grown up man, really!! not after 48 years of age,There is nothing is sacred in the world as the integrity of ones own mind.The integrity is broken in the first place.It is a joke. No morals on either side.
As far as possible it is better not to give prominence to the marriage, divorce, friendship etc. of a different class of people which included the film stars. It is really disturbing to majority of the people when you write the no. of times married and divorced, sister not knowing the marriage etc.
THe fellow belonged in a jailcell. Bribes and influence in turning terrorists into HEROES! Only in India !!!

jitu ..it may not be newsworthy of you but 21 pages of newsprint is not ALL about news. It covers other subjects too. Covering celebrities especially from the movie world is don all the time because not everybody is as "enlightened" as you and some people actually are interested in what's happening to their favorite actor/actresses. So please get off your high horses and really just skip stuff like this whch is apparently not suited to your taste.

However much loud you cry, newsworthy or not, no one really cares, if they do they would not print silly stuff like this or like Aish meeting with her hubby who is shooting movies, Ash falling from a horse. I just like you and opined my dislike for news like this but really it does not matter to anyone, they just publish nonsense!
