Hazare, they added, has been listening, particularly on the need to shed the movement’s pronounced anti-Congress agenda.
“IAC is 100 per cent a front of the RSS,” said Ashok Sabban, vice-president of the Bhrashtachar Virodhi Jan Andolan Nyas (BVJAN), who has been with Hazare for 20 years. “Anna has promised to discuss it at our meeting around January 10-15.”
His associates have also been telling Hazare to take control of the movement.
“It is not just the Congress that is corrupt. Slamming it daily has hurt credibility... Arvind Kejriwal and Kiran Bedi are taking decisions and making Anna speak for them,” Sabban said.
Alauddin Sheikh, who has been working with Hazare for 15 years, said Hazare himself showed discomfort over recent developments. “The IAC is taking advantage of his simplicity,” Sheikh said.
Professor Balaji Kompalwar, who heads the BVJAN Nanded unit, said many IAC activists saw profit in getting overtly political.

The larger point here is Anna ji is being controlled by Kejriwal-Bedi-Bhushan trio. Organisations who were with Anna Hazare for the last 15-20 years say that Anna's image is being used by them for their own hidden agenda. Lokapal is only a smoke screen
These advisers over-look the fact that Anna's Mumbai-campaign failed because SHIVA-Sena vehemently opposed it! Anna's course is right! After UPA"S Himalayan corruption a Powerful OMBUDSMAN is vital.
If this movement was apolitical as said by team anna...then why did the want support from a political party like Shiv-Sena for Mumbai-campaign to be successfull?...Then was this rellay a apolitical movement?...Dear "sivaramanenator" your comment proves that the Headline of the news is true.
Why only RSS? The whole country is behind Anna.The more,the better.RSS represents a good size of opinion in the country and its support should be substantial.What we need now is support of Congress,Shiv sena,CPM/CPI(these communist parties are,normally,very strongly behind any 'honesty' movement).If this happens,Anna's mission shall be 'done'.
What a contradictory comment...Firstly,In a country of 120 crores a mere 5-10 lakhs people doesn't mean the whole country...Secondly, you are saying communist parties are,normally,very strongly behind any 'honesty' movement...now since they haven't supported Anna's movement that means Anna's movement is not honest...corruption is only for name sake the hidden agenda is different
Bajpeyi & Nanaji ok, but Modi should not put in same bracket. RSS issue is important, since they are not bothered about clean politics and supporting BJP.
It is all rubbish to say that RSS is behind movement. Only Congressi sycophants can suggest it in order to divert the attention of public from their Swiss Bank Accounts. But public is not that fool.

You said it what I want to say...thanks ROY :)...To add to it..."Corruption" is only for name sake but the real agenda is to concentrate power in hands of priveleged ones which otherwise is not possible through Electrol politics as their population is less...The way the movement went...undermining of Democratic Institutions...opposition to Representation of SC/ST/OBS/Minority/Women...what does it projects?......Why is that from its formation till today the Head of RSS has been from only one caste?
There is nothing new in it that kejriwal and bedi hijacked a well calibrated movement and anna was not able to grasp their actions. The stage was set where anna will speak what these two people wanted him to speak. The intellectual fermentation in the movement got lost and lately kejriwal had to rush to general public to seek its sagely advice. Anna may still bring the movement back on rails provided he stops painting all politicians with the same brush, stop dictating parliament, for the time being accept a version of lokpal which may not presently fulfill his dreams but which may be amended later in the light of learning experience. Otherwise his fasts on routine basis will turn into blackmailing exercise, nothing else.
My question to IE is, so what if it is 100% RSS front? Is RSS people are not citizens of India? Do they have right to join in anti corruption movement or not? There are good noble soules in RSS like Nanaji Deshmukh, Atalji, modi etc. and there are bad people in RSS like Singhal, bajrangis etc. If good people join encourage and bad people join throw them out.
Does that mean RSS does not have a right to oppose corruption or corruption by anti RSS forces is acceptable

Anna knows without the support from RSS his campaign cannot be conducted as efficiently as it was done in Delhi. His analysis of corruption in the country ignores that Indians prefer shortcuts / breaking the law for which corruption is the means. Why do autorickshaws refuse to run by the meter in the national capital and none can enforce the law? why do trucks carry more than the maximum stipulated load? Why do buildings violate norms? The problem does not lie only with the bribe taker but also the bribe giver. About the bribe giver/law breaker, Hazare has been woefully silent.
