‘The Daily Times’ quoted General Musharraf as saying, “ISI is doing the same job in Pakistan as the CIA and RAW are doing in the US and India.”
He said that weakening the ISI or army was being done in a bid to weaken the nation, adding, India and Pakistan owed their ''survival'' to their armed forces. The former president said during his government tenure, a 15-year plan had been prepared to meet the country’s defense needs.
He also claimed that Pakistan had documentary evidence of India's involvement in the strife in Balochistan.
General Musharraf also said that the US could not be successful in the war on terror if it stops aid to Pakistan.

OK, so Pakistan is very low in intellects than India. Then why doesn't India give any advisable proof that Pakistan's ISI is involved. The proof India has given is certainly not enough. This is just some bull shit crap to win the elections by your politicians. And you guys are blinded by your politicians. The real terrorist of south asia is India. Pakistan may be the all so terrorist haven. But India is a terrorist itself. All Muslims except for celebrities are living in pure hell. Masjids are being destroyed. You are indeed low on intellect. The examples given by someone below are for celebrities because you would recognise them. I have two close Hindu acquaintances whose daughters married Muslims, but there would be no point giving their names here! As to the proof of Mumbai attacks, the US and UK appear to be satisfied with the proof given by India. Giving all the evidence has its own risks. What happened to the parents of Ajmal in Faridkot. It is good to know that India is supporting the Balochi uprising. At last, India is doing something to retaliate. Eventually, that will put sense into the Pakis or the Balochis will gain independence and end their domination by the Paki Punjabis.
Mr. Musharraf is a very conniving man. He double dealt USA and every body else. While anIndian prime Minister was visiting Pakistan on a historical peace mission, he attacked India into the famous Kargil war.
What is in common between Pakistanis and Kashmiris? Religion? if this is the excuse then it predicts a very dangerous outcome.Is pakistan trying to bleed India using religion as a tool ? When Pakistan can not control its own territory and is economically close to bankruptcy then how can it improve life style of kashmiris? If kashmir issue is raised citing religious grounds then What are pakistani plans for close to 250 million other muslims living in India in a better economic situation than muslims in pakistan? OsamaBinLaden is head of AlQaeda and Musharraf was and still head of ISI.He is still playing major role in planning terrorist' attack,real brain drain the way AQKhan is of nuke proliferation.No action had been taken against Musharraf because behind the scenes he is controlling Arm Forces and ISI.In Pakistani history a dictator who punished each and every opponent couldn't be enjoying life the way he does.He has some written legal comittments form this ridiculous Govt.If he is out then with what authority he can claim such things.He remains India's enemy and shouldn't be allowed to enter our country as proposed for some visit or lectures.Keep this guy away and out.
Unfortunately there are some people in india taking sides of pakistan. Had they been to pakistan they would have been got kicked out by pakistan. Do they know what is happening in (SWAT Valley) Pakistan before giving any comments?
Musharraf is sleeping. Wake up, Musharraf. India is much different from Pakistan . Pakistan is not equal to India in any respect ( morally, intellectually , economically , in respect of global status , technolgically and in every other aspect). Do not compare India with Pakistan and don't come to India for your lecture tour.By hte way who has inbvited the author of Kargil War to India at such a sensitive moment ? We should find out the place where he is going to deliver his lecture and have a "musharraf go back" morcha. It is a shame that any institution in India is having the man responsible for the deaths of our brave soldiers during the kargil war, as a lecturer. Then let Musharraf tell whose hand was there in Mumbai attacks. Let him search his conscience, if he has any, before talking. Self-deceit is the worst form of deceit.
Can any one tell as to how former President Parvez Musharraf is so sure that the infamous ISI is not involved in the Mumbai attack? Does the present Govt share its agenda with Musharraf? Surprising - isn't it?

Everybody knows there are more than 20 Crore Muslim population in India. Who are not scared of terrorism.Whatever terrorism in India, is caused mainly by "Pakistani Elements". Otherwise we (All religions) live as brothers in India.
It is not correct to expect that Pakistan will accept that ISI is responsible for Mumbai attak It is known to entire world except indian ministers that Pakinstan is not going to do anything against the people behind the attack. The indian leaders are very busy in election preparaion and not worried about the punishment to terrorist involved in Mumbai attack. God only can save indians.
