Chandigarh, January 21 “The terrorists are threatening me again, now from Saudi Arabia, Dubai, Muscat and various other countries in the Gulf,” said Maninderjit Singh Bitta, chairman, All India Terrorist Front. He said that despite his informing the intelligence, security agencies and the police forces of the region, he continues to receive threat calls.

Speaking at a press conference at Chandigarh Press Club, here today, Bitta handed over a list of more than 92 overseas calls received on his mobile phone. Attributing the overseas calls to some henchmen of certain terrorist organisations, Bitta alleged that he started receiving threatening calls from the countries in the Gulf, ever since he launched a campaign for death penalty to Mohd Afzal Guru.

He added that he had been receiving threatening calls from Afzal’s supporters since December 2006.
