"Rae Bareli and Amethi were the 'karma bhoomi' of Feroze Gandhi, Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi. It is also the 'karma bhoomi' of mine and Rahul. Rae Bareli and Amethi are like my home. She also had barbs at Chief Minister Mayawati saying like the Rail Coach Factory in her constituency for which land allotment has been cancelled by the state government, there were at least eight such schemes on which the clearance has come the Centre but "all the hurdles are here only in Uttar Pradesh".
Asked if she was prepared to go to jail, Gandhi shot back "I am also ready to go to jail".
Unfazed by the administration's apparent attempts to foil her plans for holding a rally today by imposing prohibitory orders, Gandhi flew straight to Fursatganj in a private aircraft skipping Lucknow.
Gandhi, who was cheered by slogan-shouting Congress workers who also garlanded her at some places, said she had planned to come here for the happy occasion of laying of the foundation stone for the Rail Coach Factory.
"You know the matter is now before the court and I will not make any comments," she said when asked about the cancellation of the land allotment by the Mayawati government.

Sonia gandhi is palying cheap politics by saying that she is ready to got jail...
Sania Maino aka Sonia Gandhi(got that from nehrufamily.com), has learnt the art of delivering right dialogues at the right time, this is what she has got in family tradition, now Raul aka Rahul is also in line for the Prime-ministerial candidate, and then at the cost of public money will take India to Italy or say Pakistan.
Laloo announced this factory in his first budget and now they are looking out for foundation stone. If this is the pace of development in Sonia Laloo Mutual Benefit Society (second simillar project is for Chhapra, Laloo's constituency) then they deserve a kick.Gandhis want their consrituencies developed at tax payer's cost. Praful Patel has promised a civilian airport to his constituents at Gondia by offering a compensating bribe of airport at Amethi/Raibareily. Gandhi family has ruled this territory since independence. However, feudal mentality of rulers and subjects do not bring development. You need to be a MODI for that. Mayawati may be crude and petty but Gandhis are no better with or without their pall bearers in media. Soniaji need not take trouble of going to prison. We, the Indians should declare AMETHI?RAIBAREILY as a new VATICAN, a state withis state for our messiahs and taranhars provide Rs. 1,000 Crores to the hoghest order and pary them to develop.
In India the politicians are prepared to go to jail only to gain political mileage. The tax payers money is being squandered to feed these politicians. About Sonia, less said the better.
She is ready to go to Jail. So also her son Rahul was ready to go to Jail for his constituency. Going to Jail is also a profitable business now. One can stay there comfortably with home food, mobile, and plenty of leisure. It is a profitable business too. When required one can auction himself/herself for a hefty amount to come out in Raymond Suitings and vote in Parliament! After a long stint of political activities if somebody wish a jail term it is more than justified. However this Jail threat is not going to work on public.

We had thought the the entire country was Sonia's karam bhoomi. But unfotunately she picked only Amethi and Rai Bareilly where she made the Central Govt. spend more money.May God bless India where the PM or the maker of PM consider only one part of the country their Karam bhoomi.

OF the enlisted as people of KharmaBoomi, unfortunately, she is the only odd member who is not 'Indian" enough to have taken up the important role of leading a party like congress.It makes no sense, she going around the country and world claiming what she was made to believe by some timid, selfish congressmen. None of these individuals match the courage of those who floated parties and survived decades of congress politics.Mayavathi and MP leadership may take such actions as preventing a leader's visit on security reasons.The center miserably failed to bring down terrorism. If her meetings ignite an attack or a riot, the local state governments will be promptly blamed for the same. I congratulate the State govts.have the common sense to say no.

Yeah right you should be in jail for causing so much of frictions/bombings in our peaceful society, that would be appropriate, But please do not embarrass the people for karma bhoomi fiasco. Nobody believes you. The educators when she visits and bullies the poor, you should consequently retrace her footsteps and undo the damage done. There is so much upheaval created by Sr. and Jr Congress that this party should not be in existence. This is not a heritage that she thinks it is her birth right to rule us whom she hates. Have you forgotten the massacre of our bretheren all over India which she refuses to divulge. But people have not forgotten, so do not take the Hindustanis for granted. where are the laws against criminals have you given justice to the innocent victims?

I think Madam sonaiaji must express being her karma to have people like Mr.arjun sing, Mr.lallu, Mr.Patil, Mr.Ramdoss etc., - who are doing yeomen service for appeasign muslims and that it is her karma to live with such people. It is our (Hindus) karma to have such politicians.
She has lost her husband in the fight for the nation, she has lived her life wearing a cotton saree where she could have easily gone to his country along with her childrens and would have lived a peaceful life. Vinodh ji congress and sonia has converted Amethi and Rae bareli in to their personal propoerty. We heard that roads are like roads in US in these two places. It is true but only from airport to dak bangla to facilitate dhakka free ride for gandhi family. Because fursat ganj is not a public airport and no body other than gandhis and a few netas fly from there. People of Rae bareli and Amethi have been made fools by false proaganda and false promise. Nothing else.
