Once again the Tendulkar's negative role is proved. We have won last two matches against Sri Lanka only because Tendulkar failed miserably. In the first match much was made of wrong umpiring decision against him; what does he have to say in this match. He was out again LBW!!!

Good show by Mighty India. Taming the Lankans in their own den is an achievement. Best wishes.

This win at Colombo was different than the previous one. In this match, Team India was pitched against 11 Srilankan players and two biased umpires. Further, as was evident from the TV screen, the bails were placed in such way, that they were not getting dislodged even after they were struck by hand. All these helped Sri Lanka to take the match till last over. Otherwise the match would have been one sided one. Qudos to Dhoni and his team for not losing their cool against all odds. Dhoni also set an example by walking from the crease even though he was not given out by the umpire. Will Jayewardhane's team learn from Dhoni's example.

India deserved the victory. But its wrong to say that umpires were biased and bails were not getting dislodged. In that case what about the SL runouts in the end? Kumar Sangakkara never waits for umpires decision to be given out. Umpires are human and they tend to make mistakes - India is a better team and they dervice to win 4-1

srilankan umpire by naganmoney on 01 Feb 2009

the best player in Sri Lanka is their umpire, who closes his eyes when srilanka bats and lifts his hand, if any body shouts , to compensate,he tries to see that MSD is not out, but as a gentleman he walked out without his decision, Long Live srilankan umpire, but mind that dont repeat it in Pakistan, to save your body and soul
