New Delhi India's growth is seen slowing to 6.5 per cent in the fiscal year ending on March 31 and there is lot of room to ease monetary policy, a senior government official said on Tuesday.

Planning Commission Deputy Chairman Montek Singh Ahluwalia was speaking to reporters.

India did not have room to ease money policy sir. If monetory supply eased inflation will surely increase. Already food prices are sky roketed. Please do not add fuel into it.
