"We expect cooperation from all world communities to get speedy results to our demands," Defence Minister A K Antony told reporters in New Delhi to a question on US President Barack Obama calling Pakistan the epicentre of terror.
"Apart from solidarity or sympathy, what India needs is results and we are waiting for the results," Antony added.
New Delhi has been telling the world that terrorists operating from across the border are not only a threat to India but also to the entire world, Antony said.
"I am happy that there is realisation in many quarters on terrorists operating from across the border. As per our information, at the moment there are 30 terror outfits operating from across the border," Antony said.
"It is not words or sympathy, India needs action, India needs results," the Defence Minister added.
Calling for strong action against terrorists who perpetrated the Mumbai terror attacks, the Defence Minister said all terror outfits in Pakistan must be dismantled. To a question, Antony denied any pressure on India from the US against using military option in the wake of the Mumbai terror attacks due to the former's war on terror in Afghanistan.
"No sensible person, no responsible country will say after the 26/11 experience that India must not take any steps against terrorists," he said.
Noting that the armed forces were in a state of preparedness after the terror attacks, Antony said "they are doing their duty to the nation and they must, according to me, be ready to face any eventuality on the border".
To a poser on Pakistan seeking China's help to ward off New Delhi's pressure, the Defence Minister said there was nothing new in the move.

i think that indian need to think hundred time to war with pakistan, because now pakistan is not like , 1965 or 1971, now millions of ordinary youngs are ready for jehad, and miltary also very strong, just impossible
Dear editor, actions speak louder than words and we definitely need actions not words.
This is hypocritical. After 26/11, all India did was to use words. There was no action from India. Now we are saying we want others to take action. Hah!

Mr Anthony's statement reminds one of the stereotypical helpless victims in Hindi film who shouts 'bachao! bachao!' when attacked by goons. Pathetic.
Dear ALL, for fake pride we cannot provoke mad generals in pakistan to use their nuclear armour against India. Easy to comment on "inaction" by the indian govrnment. The minister knows the consquences well and just to quench unnecessary pride of some foolish insane people cannot take the war initiative.
Mr.Defence minister we dont want any comments.What have you done after the attacks?Everyone can say so many things.What have you done so far.Atleast do something and protect our fellow citizens.If you are an Indian and if you consider you self a responsible defence minister and a patriot save our people and if you cannot leave your seat

India's ruling establishment will wait for the so-called results till the next general elections. After that all will be forgotten. We already had enough of these routine media bites. At least Chidhambaram makes some sense when he speaks in public.
If pakistan is not taking any action, why don't India takes some action. Why to make the repeated request. Everyone including PM, Home minister, Defence minister, Navy Cheif, Militry chief, forign minister have made several request in this regard but nothing has happend so far. The next step of pakistan will be to declare that they are not aware where is lakhvi. we must learn from past from dawood or molana masood azar' s dirty examples

Mr. Antony first take some action on inside perpetrators. West Bengal, Assam and kerala are on verge of becoming second kashmir with ever increasing muslim population. Some predict that within next 20 years muslims will be majority there. Muslim already compose 30% population there which was 10% at time of independence.For some of u this would be nonsense but mark my words muslims are predicted to take over hindu population by 2050. So i feel Indians should be more worried about problems with in country.Guys please! we cannot allow this country to turn into lebonan or bosnia where muslim over took christians. This is land of Hindus.For those who think that India with muslim majority is not a problem then please ignore this comment.
India is for Indians and that is the way it has made progress. The concern is between Indians and Pakistanis. That is the way it has to stay and not deriven by narrow irrational religious identities which should have been buried long time back.India has to be proud of its vast traditions and diversity. Relegious identities are often driven by ignorance.
