East: Isolated places in Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya, sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim; mainly dry in Nagaland, Manipurm, Mizoram and Tripura, Gangetic West Bengal, Orissa Jharkhand, Bihar.

North: A few places in Jammu and Kashmir; isolated places in Uttarakhand, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh; mainly dry in Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan.

Central: Mainly dry

Peninsula: A few places in coastal Tamil Nadu; isolated places in south coastal Andhra Pradesh, interior Tamil Nadu, Kerala; mainly dry in Gujarat State, Konkan and Goa, Madhya, Maharashtra, Marathwada, north coastal Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Rayalaseema, Karnataka.

Islands: Isolated places in Andaman and Nicobar Islands; mainly dry in Lakshadweep.

Temperatures recorded in four meteropolitan centers were:

The trough of low at sea level over southwest and adjoining southeast Bay of Bengal now lies over southwest Bay of Bengal and neighbourhood. The western disturbance as an upper air system over eastern parts of Jammu and Kashmir has moved away northeastwards. A fresh western disturbance as an upper air system lies over north Pakistan and adjoining Jammu and Kashmir.

The cyclonic circulation over Punjab and neighbourhood persists and now extends between 2.1 and 3.1 kms a.s.l. A trough in mid and upper tropospheric westerlies with it's axis at 7.6 kms a.s.l. runs roughly along. Long. 62 degrees East to the north of Lat. 15 degrees North. Above three systems are likely to move east northeastwards. The cyclonic circulation extending upto 0.9 km a.s.l. over south Tamil Nadu and adjoining Kerala persists. The trough in the lower level westerlies from Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim to Orissa has become less marked.
