New Delhi, July 18: The Jharkhand Mukti Morcha, which has five MPs in Parliament, will support the UPA Govt in next week's confidence vote, said the party's chief whip, Teklal Mahto.

Ahead of Tuesday's vote, the Congress party-led ruling coalition and Opposition parties are desperately tying up support, with analysts saying the outcome was too close to call.

corrupt congress by Prasad on 19 Jul 2008

I am not surprised that Indian Express has kept quite on the issue of Congress led UPA bribing MP's to vote for them. Yesterday on all TV channels there was a SP MP who was openly telling that he was approached by a corporate house with ofer of 20/25 crores to vote for UPA and worse is that he also told that if he could bring along with him 4 more he would get 2 crores extra. Why is Indian Express silent on this story. Because it involves Congress. The express does'nt want people to know the shady and greedy side of the congress. Daily it is just singing peans of the UPA and the nuclear deal while hiding such shady deals nder the carpet. Shame on you Shekhar Gupta. You are stooping to new lows everyday.

One wonders where the merits/demerits of the deal are in all this unsavory goings on.Have we proved that we as a nation are incapable of debating issues and taking decisions in national interest? Few parties seem worried about the deal as they carry out deals to defeat the ruling coalition or the opposition's bid to oust them.Contrast it with presidential hopeful in US, Obama who despite their earlier concerns about the deal has stated on record that he would be "reluctant to seek changes" if his administration has to deal with it. If in the midt of a fierce race for White House, the Americans can have such pragmatism, why can't we? Those of us aspiring to see India become a global power need to ponder. Wewill have to rise above petty abuses and closed mindsets and acquire a larger and liberal vision.

N-deal and deals by Varind on 19 Jul 2008

N-Deal is in the interest of the nation or not, time will tell. But definitely the ongoing deal behind deal with SP, JMM, RLD, JD (S) is getting much attention than the N-deal. Therefore PM and Sonia are out to divert public attention from the ill like soaring prices, high inflation and lawlessness. Top class scounderls and crooks are out to ruin the democracy in the garb of N-Deal.

Anywaz, today after all these jokers are kicked out. Tomorrow they will be back again with a new story! Same %$^$, different day!!!WHy? it is due to this autocratic and anarcic MP/MLA ticket distribution system that keeps the wrong people in charge of political organizations.SO FOR NOW, UNTIL THE SYSTEM CHANGES (don't know when), WE SUPPORT MAYA BAHENJI for Dalit PM. Let the Dravids, SC, ST, ... shoot on their foot by being sold out for 15 CR or bigger money and not supporting their AMMA MAYA.Mayaji is not bad to other case and religions. Bardhan has good choice to bring such an opposing force/forces such as Maya against videshi and their chamchas.

And last time he took that money from Narasimha Rao and went to the bank for keeping it in fixed deposit! These people have brains of a flea! It is sad to see that these people decide the fate of such major events. It's sickening.
