Thirty-two suspected Bangaldeshis were arrested from Galta Gate, Kanota, and Paota police station areas and ten in Jaipur city's Bagrana locality under various sections of CrPC. mainly Section 109 relating to false identity disclosure, official sources said.
Many of the arrested have criminal records, they said.
All the arrested were sent to judicial custody after they were produced before a Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) court.
The identification of Bangladeshis' whereabouts and validity of their migration are being checked across the state following the BJP government's directive to district collectors and SPs to collect their data within 30 days.
