While there are other issues too, Jaitley is said to be hugely upset with the appointment of Sudhanshu Mittal as "sah-prabhari" (co-incharge) for party's election campaign for the North-East. Mittal's appointment was announced by party president Rajnath Singh a couple of days ago.
When contacted, Jaitley told this reporter that "he was busy in a meeting." One of his aides said that "he was meeting Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar before the BJP-JD (U) seat-sharing arrangement is finalised at the CEC". States like Andhra Pradesh were discussed in the morning at the CEC on Friday. “He worked till late in the evening on Thursday fine-tuning the final campaign, which shall begin on March 16. So why this fuss about his absence at the morning session of CEC today," asked his aide.

tantrum at eleventh hour ? BJP does with its own hands to loose elections as usual. grow wise and put the egos to a side. remember such activites during election times gives a bad effect in the minds of low IQ indians.
Arun Jaitly is a matured and cultured politician of immense repute, he cannot do any idiotic things like this. But the secular indian media as the partener of anti- BJP political parties never liketo miss the chance defame BJP by any means.
Mr Arun Jaitley is a very efficient and a seasoned politicians. He has all the capabilities of being a great leader of India. Instead of getting upset, he should welcome all the help to win the Elections for BJP. In fact he
Jaitley does not have the guts to contest the elections himself... He is just a backroom manipulator. People like Kapil Sibal can actually win Lok Sabha elections
jaitley need not contest any elections. He has never aspired for an executive position. The entire BJP goes to him for advice. He is the think tank of BJP and very successful in putting BJP governments in place. Karnataka, Gujarat and many more. Can Kapil sibal do that???
