Janhit Cong announces office-bearers

Chandigarh, February 1 The Bhajan Lal-Kuldeep Bishnoi group today announced the names of the state office bearers and district presidents of the Haryana Janhit Congress (BL). The list indicates that a deliberate move has been made to woo the non-Jat voters in the state. People from Brahmin and Punjabi community have been given the maximum number of posts in the new list. There is also a move to win over the Dalit voters. The term of the state office-bearers and district presidents of the new outfit would be for one year, but it may be reduced in the interest of the party, said party general secretary Mangat Ram.

Kuldeep Bishnoi is the president of the Haryana Janhit Congress, while Sudha Malik has been named the president of the Haryana Janhit Mahila Congress. Kusum Sharma, Meena Parwar and Jai Bhagwan Sharma have been named the conveners, while Jai Bhagwan Sharma has been made the new president of the HJC youth wing.

Narinder Singh has been made the chairman of the HJC disciplinary committee, while Ran Singh Mann and D. Kaushik have been appointed as chairman of the HJC policy research and administrative reforms committee. Similarly, as many as 34 district presidents have been appointed. Among the prominent names in the list of HJC state chairmen of cells are that of Ramesh Godara, Randhir Panihar, Ramesh Singla and Amar Singh Dhanak. Among the prominent people in the district presidents’ list are Satpal Sangwan, Maniram Kehwarwala and Satpal Kaushik.
