The programme was organised by the Centre for Adult Continuing Education and Extension (CACEE), Panjab University. Dr Renu Gandhi, programme in charge from CACEE said that life skill education programmes are essential for adolescents due to increasing competition, technological advancement, and stressful life styles resulting in emotional instability.
Dr Gandhi said that self-awareness, empathy, emotional stability and self management skills will help the adolescents to handle physical, mental, and social problems. Nearly 80 students and teachers attended the programme. School principal C M Sharma inaugurated the camp.
Dr Kiran Preet from the Department of Sociology motivated the students to activate their reasoning ability through concentration and self determination. He said that concentration will help them in attaining success .
