Jeev 42nd, Randhawa slides to 154th in latest ranking

New Delhi Nursing a rib injury, Jeev Milkha Singh slipped a rung to 42nd in the official World Golf Ranking, while compatriot Jyoti Randhawa dropped five places to 154th.

Jeev pulled out of the recently concluded British Open owing to the injury.

Randhawa, who failed to make the cut in a European Tour event, slided five places to the 154th spot.

Arjun Atwal, who missed the cut in the US Bank Championship was ranked 297th, while Shiv Kapur was 406th.

Among other Indians, Gaganjeet Bhullar, who made his major debut in British Open was ranked 418th, while SSP Chowrasia, who finished 77th in the Barclays Scottish Open, was 434th in the latest ranking.
