Los Angeles Singer-actress Jennifer Hudson is planning to return to public life after she hid herself following the murder of her mother, brother and nephew last year.

The Oscar winner stunned the crowd at Miami at the Raymond James Stadium with her performance. This was her first performance since the tragic incident last year.

Hudson gave a heart-rendering performance while she sang the US national anthem. The singer is also planning a tour this spring.

Her manager Damien Smith told "EW.com" that Hudson is planning for a six week tour in late March or early April.

"Everybody stay tuned. You'll be seeing a lot more of her," he said.
