Los Angeles ‘Dreamgirls’ star Jennifer Hudson, who is all set to marry fiance David Otunga, also plans to design her own wedding dress.

"I want to design it. Definitely classic, more traditional than anything. I want it to be nice and traditional, but very classy, very classy," Hudson said.

The Oscar-winning actress-singer had got engaged to Otunga last September but had to postpone her wedding plans after the murder of her mother, sister and nephew in October.

Hudson made a comeback after the tragedy with a performance at the Super Bowl.

The Grammy winning singer has elaborate plans for her nuptials as she doesn't want a regular wedding, reported ‘Access Hollywood’.

"We're both very creative and kind of unique. I don't want to have the same exact wedding as everyone else. He might come walking down the aisle for all we know," Hudson added.

Another surprise element that the singer wants is to have her dogs as the ring bearers.

"I want my dogs to be in my wedding. I am so serious," she said, adding that one of her dogs named Oscar "might be the ring bearer or something."

Hudson also plans to sing at her wedding. "I sang for everybody else's wedding, I might as well sing for my own," she said.

The singer got engaged to actor boyfriend David Otunga during her 27th birthday in September 2008.
