London Angelina Jolie is reportedly drawing plans to adopt an orphan from the quake-torn region of Haiti.

The actress, who shares six kids with partner Brad Pitt, was purportedly moved after visiting the paediatric ward of Dario Contreras Hospital in neighbouring Dominican Republic.

The Goodwill Ambassador for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees was said to have discussed relief aid with the country's president Leonel Fernandez, The Sun reported.

The 34-year-old star also mentioned the possibility of adopting a Haitian child, sources claimed.

A pal said: "She's made no secret of her desire to adopt again. Children in Haiti need help. It's a perfect opportunity."

Jolie has three kids with Pitt, plus eight-year-old Maddox, adopted from Cambodia, five-year-old Zahara, from Ethiopia and six-year-old Pax, from Vietnam.
