Junior golf programme at CGA from March 29

Chandigarh, March 6 In order to give boast to golf among juniors the Chandigarh Golf Club is all set to introduce number of junior golf development programme this season. The first EGTF Junior Golf Coaching Programme of the season will get underway at the Chandigarh Golf Club on from March 29 till June 29.

The programme will be conducted for a period of three-months, and on weekends from 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm on the newly covered Driving Range at CGA. Ajay Gujral, EGTF certified Golf Teaching Professional, coach youngsters during the coaching program.

According to him, it will include driving off the tee, iron play, short game shots, play from bunkers and putting. Moreover, golf rules and etiquette will also be covered to inculcate discipline among children. Interested girls and boys between 6 to 14 years of age may contact Ajay Gujral at the CGA. Competitions for young golfers will also be organised and by performing well in them, they can win golf caps, golf balls, golf gloves etc.
