London Superstar Justin Timberlake has taken his obsession with Golf to the next level as he is set to turn author with a book on the sport.

The 'SexyBack' singer has reportedly employed a literary agent to send out a short synopsis of the planned tome, in the hope of securing a publishing deal.

The book is said to be a memoir which follows "Timberlake's time on the green and his experiences playing with various competitors", Contactmusic reported.

It has been claimed that agent David Vigliano got in touch with several editors last month.

The 28-year-old singer, whose love for golf is well known, owns his own golf course and has previously admitted his proudest moment relates to the sport.

"I loved appearing on the cover of Golf Digest magazine. I'm not going to lie. I mean, I'm done. I don't have to do another magazine cover ever again," Timberlake said.

It has also been claimed the singer refuses to take to the course with his girlfriend Jessica Biel after she beat him at a game.

"He prefers not to play with her since she's gotten so good. It's too bad because he got her into golf in the first place," a source said.

However Timberlake won't be the only famous person to publish a book on the sport. In 2008, rocker Alice Cooper penned a to me called 'Golf Monster: A Rock 'n' Roller's Life' nd '12 Steps to Becoming a Golf Addict'.
