Mumbai, January 23 Canossa’ captain Kaamini Pandey led from the front as she hammered in four goals against Bombay Scottish (Powai) in the girls under-14 of the MSSA Inter-School football tournament played at Schools Sports Centre, Azad Maidan, here on Wednesday.

The last year’s top scorer in the girl’s league was determined to bag the coveted title again. Though the scholl finished third last year, Kaamini is out there to win the title for her team this season and is bound to leave no stone unturned.

This team player was all over the field, though diminutive yet covered the entire field and creating trouble for the opponenets. The Bombay Scottish defenders were blanked out with her deft passes.

In the other match of the under-14 girls Cathedral and John Connon girls edged St Lawrence, Borivali’s girls in an evenly contested match. Nynah Mandon was the only goal scorer for the winners.
