Mumbai Actress Kareena Kapoor, the reigning queen of Bollywood who has garnered hits with all the Khans, will be soon seen with the beau Saif Ali Khan in 'Agent Vinod' and the latter is hopeful the pair will deliver a box-office hit.

Kareena has worked with all top actors, from Shah Rukh Khan, Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Saif Ali Khan and Hrithik Roshan to the younger ones such as Imran Khan.

Saif says she looks best with him on screen and hopes luck works in their favour too in terms of box office success. "She looks the best with me in 'Agent Vinod'. There is no one apart from me that she looks best with," the 41-year-old star said after unveiling the first look of his much-awaited film, 'Agent Vinod'.

Kareena ruled at the box office last year with hits like 'Bodyguard' with Salman and 'Ra.One' with Shah Rukh. Prior to that '3 Idiots' with Aamir, was a smashing hit.

Things are going great guns for Kareena, be it in terms of box office success or projects that are lined up for release. Besides featuring in the action flick with Saif, Kareena will be seen in Madhur Bhandarkar's 'Heroine' and 'Talaash' opposite Aamir.

"I feel both luck and hard work are important. It will be great if her luck works for the movie," Saif said.

He also brushed aside comparisons of his film 'Agent Vinod' to Bond films, insisting his spy avatar was purely an Indian character. "This (comparison) would be very stupid thing to do. James Bond is an English character. He was the representative of capitalism against Communist Russia. He is a capitalist hero, who drinks and womanises, and he is a hero who saves the world. When you see the first scene of our film you will realise that Agent Vinod is an Indian hero who is very different from the Bond character because we did not want to make a copy of a Bond film," Saif told reporters here after unveiling the first look of the film.

Bollywood has seen spy thrillers like 'Surakshaa' (1979) featuring Mithun Chakravorty and Akshay Kumar-starrer 'Mr Bond' (1992) among others.

Saif feels audiences have always been attracted to this genre of movies. "I think India has always had an interest in characters that are special forces whether it is Mithun Chakroborty's 'Surakshaa' or Akshay Kumar's 'Mr Bond'. These films generate interests. So we thought if we could make it in a contemporary way, given the emerging global Indian personalities and global problems it would be

interesting to create a character that would be completely Indian," the 41-year-old actor said.

In the film, Saif, plays the central character of Agent Vinod. "Vinod does not try to be English, he is very Indian. The way I perform my character is completely rooted in Indian humour and sensibilities. He is a strong Indian character... he will not remind you of James Bond."

The long-delayed 'Agent Vinod', directed by Sriram Raghavan, will hit the threatres on March 23. It has been produced by Saif under his banner of Illuminati Films.
