The dignity and self control shown by the Karkare family is inspiring. I would not be able to attend the last rites of my husband in such a dignified, stoic manner. It is sad that so many people lost their lives. It is a complete breakdown of intelligence gathering. There has to be accountability for this monumental failure in order not to repeat another similar incident. Based on what we were told so far, it appears that there is a shift. It is no longer just against Hindus or perceived intolerance for India. They appear to come from various parts of the world and target various races or groups. The targets and modus operandi of these sub-humans have changed. We may succeed in identifying perpetrators and their affiliations. I am not sure that will be the end of next set of barbaric acts. When vermins invade ones house, one would need not only clear them but also the source and conditions that breed them.
