Here is an aethist, who is talking about rreligious practice. Hinduism is a scientific religion. There are many scientific reasons for wearing ash (made from cowdung) and meithi. All have proved to be medicinal value. Now MK is taking about Hinduism practice and wants to abolish the practivce in the name of equality. Hats Off to Karunanidhi. I was not aware we have a popular Hindu politician in South who can think beyond caset and creed. I am pleasently surprised to know his thinking.
