All gulf countries are functioning on closed system, a 100% violation of human rights. Any Islamic country particularly the Gulf countries, every non muslim lives in fear. These countries just vanish the person. It is inappropriate that OIC is worried about the human right situation in Kashmir when most of the OIC countries don't have a democratic system,free press and religious freedom. In leading OIC country Saudi Arabia Religious freedom is not allowed and it is a crime if a non muslim prays in a public place.They will better improve their own human right records than interfere in India's internal affairs.

India has 'observer' status at the OIC. How this degrading contact with the OIC was ever thought of beats every decent and self-respecting Indian. That status should be ended, forthwith. When it comes to Tamil Eelam, the ethnic culture, language, religion take precedent, and we allow all these under the pretext of freedom of the press and freedom of expressing opinions but we ask others to shut their “bloody” mouths when it comes to Kashmir. Don’t we have two different standards.Why not hands off policy

there are many things in common between India and Pakistan,common history of struggle for freedom, common language, and common culture. Leaders and intellectuals of both India and Pakistan have too much of ego, pride and prejudice towards each other, with a bit of give and take, accommodation and understanding we can easily solve all the problems including that of Kashmir. We can say 1001 times that the entire Kashmir is India's and nothing to talk about, that is an exaggeration, we do have a problem, but both India and Pakistan should talk to the people of Kashmir and make them agree that line of control is the international border line. To start with both Pakistan and India should give their respective parts of Kashmir full autonomy for a certain period and then eventually convince them the need to integrate totally. Once we solve Kashmir problem then both countries can reduce defence expenditure and concentrate on alleviating the poverty of 400 million poor people.

It is very nice to see many comments by muslims in India who are true patriot and advised OIC to shut up. These are few countries and has never given ant basic human rights for its citizens and exporting terrorism in other countries and are the root of trouble the world is facing today.Good muslims with humane value must unite together and throw these enemies of mankind to bins

What is OIC? It has 53 members out of which 10 countries in the gulf region and Africa are rich due to oil reserves. Rest of the countries are dirt poor ready to use the Islam banner to suck money out of these ten rich countries. Which country within the OIC has a stellar human rights credential? Saudi Arabia? Sudan? Mauritania? Libya? Egypt? Jordan? Pakistan? Sudan's President is a fugitive with an international arrest warrant pending against him for the genocide in Darfur. Kashmiris must realize that they were Hindus to begin with and became Muslims during the mogul period and they will be better of as a part of India than with Pakistan. They shouldn't listen to disgruntled Muslim fanatics in Kashmir or Pakistan or Saudi Arabia. If Kashmir becomes free from India, it will become the harem of the Gulf countries. It is Pakis (Every time I refer to Pakis, I resist the temptation to call them Bas***ds with great difficulty) who have defamed Muslims the world over with the result that tere is extensive racial profiling. It is for responsible countries like Saudi Arabia to take lead and show Pakis the place they belong to. Saudis did show their sincerity recently when they urged US to mediate for solving Kashmir. I think, they should not underestimate their strength and put pressure on Pakis to behave like civilised society and stop the terror agenda.
